The 18th Annual Brockport Arts Festival joyously returns to Main Street on August 11- 12, after two years at other locations. The all volunteer festival celebrates this homecoming with many new artists and entertainers.
A communitys favorite, the annual Duck Derby returns to the Main Street canal lift bridge allowing a great view as thousands of plastic ducks dive into the canal and drift to the finish line. Not to worry thoughthere are prizes for both the first five to cross the finish line, as well as the last five. This year derby proceeds will benefit our own Lakeside Memorial Hospitals digital mammographya valuable community asset.
The lawn of the historic Morgan Manning house lawn will feature great family entertainment, and elsewhere at the festival youll find a kids fitness walk and an Erie Canal barge sculpture made from donated cans of food. A second entertainment center will be located at Main and Market Streets and will feature street dancers and other activities.
Patrons will enjoy 100+ exhibitors, live entertainment, the Wine Garden under the big tent, a Vintage Car Cruise-In, Farmers Market and loads of great food!
Admission is free.
BISCO is comprised of members of the Brockport community service organizations such as Brockport Kiwanis, Lions, Rotary, Brockport Fire Department and community group representatives such as Lakeside Hospital and the Chamber of Commerce. Members and other volunteers work cooperatively to solicit support. Their efforts contribute to the betterment and well-being of eligible individuals, groups and organizations within the service area.
